Student Information Systems in the Italian Riviera
SchoolWorks is delighted to announce our newest client, the American International School in Genoa (AISG). "Right from the start, we felt this customer was unique and special," says SchoolWorks' owner, Bob Rinella. "When demonstrating our school management software to AISG, I felt a connection; their software needs and our capabilities were a perfect match!" AISG came to SchoolWorks without an existing student information system; they were excited about venturing into this new project and coming up to date immediately with a web-based system.
Although SchoolWorks student information system is compatible with international standards and can be implemented in any language, AISG administratively functions in English. No translation was immediately required. Programmers of the SchoolWorks student information system included provisions for bi-lingual data access - an industry first - so that soon, AISG school administrators will be able to access their data in English, while AISG parents and students will see the same data in Italian! This bi-lingual capability was initially added to our student data management system to accommodated the intentions of "No Child Left Behind" legislation.
SchoolWorks hopes to leverage this initial success in the international market and deliver comprehensive student data management to schools world wide.
